The Town of Southold recognizes the important role nonprofit organizations have in our town. ARPA permits providing funds to nonprofits in order to assist communities with COVID-19’s negative public health impact. The Town of Southold is offering this one-time grant program to nonprofits in recognition of their dedication to the community and their ability to most effectively provide essential services to those in need.

Grant funding may be used for the reimbursement of 2022 COVID-19 expenses that provided direct aid to Southold residents to support the public health and economic response. Eligible reimbursable expenses include emergency housing assistance and/or food insecurity assistance targeted to those disproportionately impacted by the pandemic.
