Grievance Information 

The Assessors conduct informal meetings throughout the year and are able to resolve most assessment questions. To learn more about the assessment process, please call or email one of the Assessors. 

If you are unable to come to a resolution with the Assessor you may file a grievance. Each year Grievance Day is the third Tuesday in May (May 16, 2023). Below please find the grievance application and instructions.

The Southold Town Board of Assessors will be accepting Grievance Applications during the Grievance Period from May 1, 2023 through May 16, 2023.
