Grievance Information 

The Assessors conduct informal meetings throughout the year and are able to resolve most assessment questions. To learn more about the assessment process, please call or email one of the Assessors. 

If you are unable to come to a resolution with the Assessor you may file a grievance. Each year Grievance Day is the third Tuesday in May however this year it will be the fourth Tuesday in June. (June 23, 2020). The Grievance Period is from June 1 – June 23.  Below please find the grievance application and instructions:

At this time there is no public access to the Southold Town Hall, please keep in mind that all Grievance Applications must be received by the Assessor’s Office no later than Grievance Day June 23, 2020.
