“UPCOMING PAPER SHREDDING EVENT RE-SCHEDULED!!”The paper shredding event originally scheduled for May 20 at Peconic Landing, has been RE-SCHEDULED. It will now be held on Saturday, May 27, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm at the regular location behind the Town Recreation Center on Peconic Lane in Peconic.
The Town of Southold holds periodic document shredding events for Town residents. These events give residents the opportunity to dispose of sensitive documents efficiently and securely. In 2016 the Town will offer this service through Shred-It, Inc. of Westbury, NY which provides a mobile shredding vehicle capable of holding up to 10 tons shredded paper.
So why not give yourself peace of mind and fight identity theft by ensuring documents with sensitive or personal information is safely and properly destroyed.
