All moorings approved or transferred after June 6, 1991 by the Southold Town Board of Trustees that are not used for at least thirty (30) days per year, shall be subject to revocation by the Board of Trustees pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 32 of the Town Code.
No boats over 35' will be approved for a mooring in any Southold Town Creek.
No boats over 18' will be allowed on stakes.
Only one mooring per person per creek.
Only two moorings per person per town.
You must own or rent within the Town of Southold and the vessel must be registered under the applicant's name.
Please contact the Board of Trustees office to go onto the waiting list of the creek you would like to have a mooring in.
FEES:
MOORING APPLICATION: $25
ANNUAL MOORING FEE RENEWAL (TOWN WATERS): Due December 31ST of each year, otherwise will be cancelled immediately.
Stake and Pulley Systems:
Vessels up to and inclusive of 18 feet $150 per year
Moorings:
Vessels up to and inclusive of 19 feet $200 per year
Vessels from 20 feet up to and inclusive of 27 feet $400 per year
Vessels from 28 feet up to and inclusive of 35 feet $600 per year
WATERFOWL/DUCK BLIND APPLICATION (ON/OVER TOWN CONTROLLED WATERS): $25
